It’s the second Monday in December, which for me means that I’m making more lists than I do the rest of the year. Outside of my assortment of to-do lists for work, I’m making lists for Christmas cards, holiday baking, shopping, and more. Although it is a busy time of year, I love December. Yes, here in New Hampshire it’s dark by 4:30, but the lights on houses make it feel festive. I love that as I pull into our driveway at night I see candles lit in all of our windows.
Here at PeKu, I’ve got my own list to share with readers. Without further ado, here are five fun facts:
- Our most senior columnist, Bea, started writing for PeKu six years ago this month. While PeKu hadn’t been officially launched, she was busily creating our first sets of articles.
- Louise, our second most senior columnist, started writing for PeKu at the end of the December in 2007, which makes her a 6-year team member also.
- Last month our writing team saw the addition of Margot. She will be writing about parenting and health, as well as writing some television show reviews.
- This month Tania became the newest member of our writing team. She will be focusing on parenting and holiday articles.
- The PeKu Pinterest boards are growing nicely. We have created a few new boards to help with the holiday season in the areas of crafting and baking. We also have added new recipes to Crafty Cocktails to help with holiday entertaining and more exercise ideas to Improve Your Workout to keep you in great shape.
As the year starts to wind down, we look forward to reflecting on the changes of 2013 and planning for more growth in 2014.
